Summary

Responsibilities

  1. Reporting to the local Head of Finance, you will work with the members of the local and international Finance teams to perform timely and accurate financial reporting, provide financial forecasts, financial analysis for Turkey and Menasa region countries
  2. Maintain tax, legal and financial compliance with local and global regulations for the region
  3. Lead and participate in Finance related projects when needed
  4. Actively participate to exchange license applications and regulatory reportings
  5. Maintain reconciliations within the scope of Finance
  6. Perform day to day accounting tasks including bookkeeping of bank transactions, taxes and personnel expenses
  7. Raise customer invoices and follow up settlement process of the invoices
  8. Liaise with customer support for customer related issues
  9. Liaise with banks when necessary and support treasury
  10. Maintain collaboration and communication with shared service centers and global teams resident abroad i.e. clearing desk, operations, finance, legal etc to achieve financial goals and objectives
  11. Contribute to financial/internal audits and provide documentation for audit team
  12. Involve in development of systems implementation and improvements
  13. Participate in establishment of Finance policies and procedures
  14. Secure strong internal controls are in place with Group Procedures

Requirements

  1. University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Economics or related fields
  2. More than 10 years of experience in accounting and finance in multinational companies. Experience in financial market/ audit background will be an asset
  3. Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills in Turkish and English with the ability to interact immediately
  4. Knowledge of Logo Tiger, Netsuite as well as e-invoice, e-ledger will be an asset
  5. Have a keen sense of risk and a good ability to identify risks
  6. Strong analytical thinking, committed, enthusiastic, self-motivated, fast in action with teamwork awareness, focused on learning & personal development
  7. Familiar and interested in crypto and financial services
  8. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a tight deadline oriented environment with a high sense of responsibility and outstanding attention to detail and accuracy
