1. AGREEMENT TO THIS POLICY

This privacy and cookie policy (“Policy”), as amended from time to time, sets out how cryptojobs.com, (“Company,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, processes, uses, maintains, stores, transfers, discloses, or erases your personal data, obtained from and through our platforms and related services offerings, via the website, mobile application and its platforms or portals and any other features or content related, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (“Platform”). The specific data points which we collect from you (“User”, “you” or “your”) are explained below in this Policy. When you use our Platform, or use any of our services, we take your privacy very seriously as we are committed to protecting your personal information and right to privacy.

1.2. Please read this Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your personal information and how we treat it. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not access or otherwise use the Platform. This Policy also explains how we use cookies. Please read this carefully as this Policy is legally binding when you access or use the Platform.

If you are under the age of eighteen (18) or are of legal age to form a binding contract under applicable laws, you may not, under any circumstances or for any reason, use the Platform.

3.3. Criteria. We may in our sole discretion refuse to offer the Platform to any person or entity and change the eligibility criteria for use thereof at any time.

4. PRIVACY OF CHILDREN

Our Platform is not directed to collect any data from people under the age of 18 years. We do not knowingly allow anyone under the age of 18 years to submit any data to our Platform. If you believe your child may have provided us with their data, you can contact us using the information in the Contact section of this Policy and we will delete the data from our Platform.

7. DATA PROCESSING IN CONNECTION WITH THE PLATFORM

The information you provide, or which we obtain from other sources will be used by us, in accordance with this Policy, our other policies, applicable laws in the United Arab Emirates, and the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”). The below specifies which data points we collect, for what purposes, and legal basis for our use of personal information.

16. where you use chargeable services or are an employer providing necessary employer information, e.g., for verification purposes; and
17. information about your behavior: we may process information about you on your behavior and your activity for marketing and advertising purposes.

We may use your personal information for the following purposes:

1. to allow you to open and operate an account on the Platform;
2. give you relevant search results and job recommendations;
3. facilitate communication as part of the job search, application and interview process;
4. match job seekers with employer job listing;
5. if you contact us, to reply to your queries;
6. to contact you via email or calls;
7. to analyse use of our Platform and provide functionality, analyze performance, fix errors, and improve the usability and effectiveness of our services;
8. to provide you with information about products and promotions that may be of interest to you, from ourselves and third parties, although only if you have specifically agreed to receive such information;
9. for market research e.g. surveying our users' needs and opinions on issues, such as our performance etc. Unless consented, your data for this purpose would be anonymised.
10. based on your consent to send you personalized information on current open job postings;
11. facilitate payment, in connection with chargeable services; and
12. to protect our legal rights to the extent authorized or permitted by law.

Legal basis for our use of personal information:

1. Performance of a contract when we provide you with products or services, or communicate with you about them.
2. Our legitimate interest to improve our services.
3. Our legitimate interest and the interests of our users when, for example, we detect and prevent fraud and abuse in order to protect the security of our users, ourselves, or others.
4. Your consent when we ask for your consent to process your personal information for a specific purpose that we communicate to you. When you consent to processing your personal information for a specified purpose, you may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop processing your data for that purpose.

8. WE PROCESS AND USE AGGREGATED, ANONYMISED AND DE-IDENTIFIED DATA.
8.1. We may also create, process, collect, use, and share aggregated, anonymized or de-identified data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose which may be derived from your personal data. We may use this data to comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

8.2. We may share your data with members of our group, service providers and our key partners. 9.1. We may have to share your personal data with a selected and trusted group of third party/parties to fulfil our obligations under our contract with you, to meet government, regulatory and law enforcement requests, and to continue providing you with the services. We will only disclose your personal information to third party service providers under strict terms of confidentiality. We do not allow our third party service providers to use your personal data and information for their own purposes and only permit them to process your personal information for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions.

9.2. We may have to share or transfer your personal information in the specific circumstances listed below:

• Applicable Law, Government Requests, etc. Where we are legally required to do so, we may disclose your personal data to comply with applicable law, governmental requests, a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process, such as in response to a court order or a subpoena (including in response to public authorities to meet national security or law enforcement requirements), or where we find it is necessary to investigate, prevent or take action regarding potential violations of our policies and situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved disclose your personal information.

• Employers. We send User’s personal data to employers on the instruction of the User. Such transfers are performed in the course of the job search, application and interview process. Such personal data will be processed in accordance with these Terms and those of the relevant Employer. Users that apply to job through the Platform that are outside their own country may involve sending their personal data to countries with lower levels of data protection. Employer account holders agree to comply with all their responsibilities under applicable data protection rules with respect to the collection, processing and storage of personal data, as well as providing adequate protection of all data subject rights provided for under all applicable data protection rules.

• Job seekers. We send certain employer-related information to job seekers. This include publishing job ads, employer’s pages and salary information on the Platform and publishing job listings on third-party websites. We may also provide information to job seekers about an employer’s activity and responsiveness on the Platform in order to help job seekers evaluate employment opportunities. This may include the employer representative’s name, the Employer’s city/state location, whether the employer has taken or has chosen not to take an action with regard to the job seeker’s resume or application such as opening, viewing, responding to or making a decision in regard to it, whether the employer has engaged with other job seekers’ or viewed other job seeker’s resumes, and whether the employer has taken an action in regard to a job listing such as pausing or closing it. As an employer, when you use the Platform (for example by posting a job posting or contacting a job seeker) you agree that we may provider this information to job seekers.

10. LINKS TO THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES

10.1. Our Platform or communications may contain links to other third-party websites which are not owned or operated by us and are regulated by their own privacy policies. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party’s site. We strongly advise you to review the privacy policy of every website you visit. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of these third-party websites, regardless of whether they were accessed using the links from our Platform. We have no control over and assume no liability for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

10.2. We specifically recommend that you, as a user (under this Policy) visit, familiarize, understand the privacy policies of such entities, as they are our partners in providing services under the facilities to you. However, even if not done as mandated herein, you undertake that you as the user accept their terms and conditions, their individual privacy policies, cookies policies, as third-party service providers to us.

11. DATA STORAGE AND DATA TRANSFERS.

11.1. Your personal data is stored and transferred in compliance with the applicable legislation or regulations of every jurisdiction in which we operate.

11.2. 12.4. Right To Erasure. This is your right under certain circumstances to ask for your personal data to be deleted. This would apply if your personal data is no longer required for the purposes it was collected for, or your consent for the processing of that personal data has been expressly withdrawn, or where your personal data has been unlawfully processed. Once deleted all your personal data will be removed from our systems and will not be recoverable.

12.5. Right To Restrict Processing. This is your right to ask for a temporary halt or pause in processing your personal data, such as in the case where a dispute or legal case must be concluded, or the data is being corrected.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority of the member state in which you are habitually resident, or with the supervisory authority of the member state in which you work or in which your rights under the GDPR have been infringed if you believe such infringement has taken place.
