Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. Solution development: Translate high-level requirements into detailed subproblems, crafting comprehensive solutions that address the overall problem. These solutions may extend beyond machine learning, provided they effectively resolve the issues. 
2. Machine Learning model development: Own the process of model development and fine-tuning for downstream tasks, including model architecture design, optimization techniques, and especially data crawling and cleaning. 
3. Model Deployment: Deploy ML models (or participate in the deployment process) across various environments, including cloud, on-premises, mobile, and edge devices. 
4. Work closely with Project Managers on both external and internal tasks. 
5. Stay fresh and update your and team’s knowledge on state-of-the-arts AI methodologies and apply them to projects. 

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, or equivalent working experience. 
2. 3+ years of experience in software development, particularly in machine learning-related projects. 
3. Knowledge in Generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs) and diffusion models. 
4. Proficiency in Python. 
5. Extensive experience with API development using frameworks such as Flask, Django, and FastAPI. 
6. Experience with asynchronous programming and tools like asyncio and Celery. 
7. Proficiency with API documentation tools such as Swagger (OpenAPI) and Postman. 
8. Experience with MLOps and integrating machine learning models with APIs. 
9. Hands-on experience with databases, including SQL, NoSQL, vector databases and features stores. 
10. Working knowledge of containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. 
11. Good professional English communication skill. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

1. Proficiency with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, NumPy, Pandas, and LangChain. 
2. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions. 
3. Experience with deploying ML models to edge devices, mobile devices. 
4. Experience in frontend development. 
5. Familiarity with computing cluster management tools such as SLURM.
