Summary

The Role

The Automation Engineer will design, develop, and deploy process automation solutions using Alteryx, UiPath, and other technologies to enhance business efficiency. You will act as a trusted advisor, collaborating with stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, craft cost-benefit analyses, and provide development and implementation support. This role involves working with programming languages like Python or Java, cloud platforms (AWS), APIs, and security protocols to deliver robust, scalable, and secure automation solutions that integrate with databases and various business applications.

You Will

  1. Design, develop, and implement process automation solutions using Alteryx, and UiPath.
  2. Create scalable workflows, leveraging cloud (AWS) and API integrations to automate business processes.
  3. Use programming languages (Python, Java) to extend automation functionality and create reusable components.
  4. Work with database systems to manage data within automation workflows.
  5. Implement security protocols in automation to ensure safe and reliable API communication.
  6. Optimize automation processes for performance and reliability, ensuring they meet SLAs.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align automation solutions with business goals.
  8. Assist stakeholders in crafting cost-benefit analyses, business justifications, and diagrams of current and future states.
  9. Provide documentation and training to stakeholders on automation solutions.
  10. Provide on-call production support for deployed automations, ensuring quick responses to off-hours incidents when they occur.
  11. Continuously explore emerging technologies to improve automation practices and solutions.

You Have

  1. 5+ years of experience in process automation, with a proven expertise with Alteryx and at least 2 years working with UIPath (preferable) or similar platforms (Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, etc).
  2. Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages.
  3. Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based automation solutions.
  4. Experience with API integrations (RESTful APIs, JSON, etc.) and security protocols (OAuth).
  5. Strong SQL and database experience.
  6. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD practices, and version control tools like Git.
  7. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

$128,500—$192,700 USD

Zone C:

$121,700—$182,500 USD

$115,000—$172,400 USD
