Summary

We’re seeking a Vice President of Business Development to lead and drive strategic initiatives within our high-performing team. In this senior role, you’ll engage with a global network of clients, spearhead growth efforts across GSR’s liquidity services and crypto solutions, and play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s trajectory within the cryptocurrency ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to grow GSR’s client base and expand existing relationships across all business lines.
  2. Represent GSR as a senior leader in key client engagements, conferences, and industry events.
  3. Drive strategic partnerships and collaborations with high-value clients, exchanges, and ecosystem participants.
  4. Lead, mentor, and oversee the Business Development team to achieve sales targets and business growth objectives.
  5. Collaborate with marketing, trading, and product teams to align GSR’s offerings with client needs and market opportunities.
  6. Identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and technological advancements to inform business strategies and provide actionable insights.
  7. Oversee the creation of high-quality proposals, pitch decks, and client-facing materials to support onboarding and relationship management.
  8. Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure the seamless delivery of GSR’s services and solutions to clients.
  9. Act as a key point of contact for regulatory and compliance matters related to business development activities.

What We’re Looking For:

  1. Experience: 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a senior client-facing role within financial services, crypto, or a similarly dynamic industry.
  2. Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing teams and delivering on ambitious business goals.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, trends, and ecosystem participants.
  4. Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to identify opportunities, negotiate deals, and execute high-impact strategies.
  5. Education: An undergraduate degree is essential; an advanced degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus.
  6. Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to build relationships, negotiate with senior stakeholders, and communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
  7. Execution: A self-starter who thrives in fast-paced environments and can balance strategic priorities with tactical execution.
  8. Passion for Crypto: Strong enthusiasm for the cryptocurrency industry and a commitment to staying ahead of market and technological trends.
