Summary
As a Business Developer at Somnia, your focus will be on identifying and closing business deals and partnerships that align with our company’s strategic goals. You will develop, maintain and nurture a pipeline of leads, partners, and strategic initiatives.
You will play a key role in shaping our strategy and product roadmap by tracking industry trends, monitoring competitors, and gathering external feedback to share with the team. Collaborating closely with the team, you’ll help develop and execute go-to-market strategies to achieve company targets, drive growth and shape product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify business opportunities and strategic partnerships that are aligned with the company's overall goals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of leads, partners, and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and execute successful GTM strategies in Web3, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet the targets.
- Make our CRM the holy grail of our business development, ensuring it becomes the ultimate tool for driving, tracking, and optimizing all our bizdev efforts.
- Collect feedback on the product, and communicate to the team to contribute to the product development and marketing strategies.
- Follow industry trends, keep an eye on competitors, and provide insights to enhance the overall strategy.
- Attend online and offline events to get leads and turn them into closed deals.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in business development in the blockchain space, preferably in early stage projects.
- Experience in startups and setting up business development processes from scratch.
- You don’t need to be a tech wiz, but you need to have enough technical knowledge to explain complex concepts to prospects and gauge their interest in Somnia.
- Strong network of Web3 key players you can easily tap into.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful business and growth strategies for Web3 projects.
- Previously worked with dApps and blockchain type of projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
