Summary
THE WORK:
- We are looking for a multidimensional professional to drive regional growth for our newly launched stablecoin (RLUSD) and enable real-world asset (RWA) tokenization on the XRP Ledger to bring more financial assets on-chain
- You will help develop strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, enterprises, and crypto native companies.
- The ideal candidate will have experience working independently on complex deals to implementation and handling strategic partners both internally and externally
- As a member of a global team, the candidate must be self-directed, comfortable operating with ambiguity, and a strong collaborator who is able to work independently as part of a cross-functional team.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop and implement Ripple's business development strategy to grow and support our newly launched stablecoin (RLUSD) and portfolio of natively issued high quality RWAs on the XRP ledger
- Develop strategic partnerships with banks, financial institutions, digital exchanges, PSPs, enterprises, and crypto native companies
- Lead deals from end to end, including sourcing, analyzing, negotiating commercial contracts, and presenting to leadership
- Collaborate well cross-functionally with product, customer success, compliance, legal, and finance to deliver high quality partners and ensure smooth deal execution
- Be the primary liaison for our partners and prospects in the Middle East & Africa region
- Represent Ripple at industry events and conferences
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- 4+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, and sales in Banking, Finance, Tech, Consulting, and/or Crypto
- Relevant experience in Trad-Fi, FinTech, and digital assets
- In-depth knowledge of blockchain technologies, tokenization, and stablecoins
- Shown success in developing first of a kind partnerships and closing complex deals
- Extensive network, with key contacts in financial services, payments, and crypto
- Excellent negotiation and relationship building skills
- Collaborative approach with strong communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with change, a pro-active problem solver, and good decision making skills
- A Bachelor's degree is required, and an MBA or equivalent is preferred
