Summary
We are looking for a Business Development Manager that will straddle our Institutional and DeFi verticals, as well as drive persistent follow up and communication for long-term Financial Services partnerships. This role will be an integral part in bringing in new and exciting products, services, and users to the Avalanche community.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Support the Senior Director of Institutions & Capital Markets to define overall strategy and execution
- Identify, review, analyze, and support institutionally-focused DeFi/OnFi projects with a large focus on tokenized asset and institutional DeFi protocols
- Write, edit, and prepare relevant communications and thought leadership
- Participate in relevant webinars and conferences in spreading awareness of Avalanche and institutional initiatives
- Grow and execute partnerships, develop novel product offerings, and sustain long-term synergies
- Collaborate with internal product teams, as well as control functions on day-to-day operations
- Identify, leverage, and grow the organizations relationship with institutional partners, including but not limited to; venture funds, liquid token funds, financial services firms, market makers, etc. by developing and executing proactive, creative, and ongoing outreach initiatives
- Produce internal and partner's corporate documents
- Ensure that marketing materials are always updated and targeted for applicable presentations, conferences, or opportunities
- Sustain a high level of professionalism among staff and partners
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of business development experience
- 2+ Wall Street/Traditional Finance background
- Strong knowledge of Crypto/DeFi market
- Front Office knowledge and analysis experience
- Detail oriented along with a sense of urgency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Salary Range: $138,600 to $173,200
