Job Overview
BXTEN is looking for a strategic and capable Country Manager to lead our business in local markets. This role requires developing and executing local business and marketing strategies to drive new user growth and trading volume. You will lead a local team and optimize the exchange operations by implementing a tailored approach for the local market.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Strategy Development: Analyze local market environments and competitive landscapes to develop effective business strategies.
- Team Leadership: Lead the local team, providing clear direction to achieve goals and offering regular feedback and mentoring to enhance team members' professional growth.
- Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day exchange operations, enhance services based on customer needs, and optimize user experience.
- Marketing and Customer Acquisition: Plan and execute innovative marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and attract new customers.
- Local Media & PR Partnerships: Build and manage relationships with local media and PR partners to ensure effective brand communication.
- Marketing Agency Contracts & Performance Measurement: Manage contracts with marketing agencies and assess performance to continuously improve strategies.
- Performance Measurement & KPI Analysis: Evaluate exchange operations and marketing activities by analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Derive strategic insights from the data to contribute to business growth and improvement.
- New Coin Listings & Trading Activation: Reflect market demands by listing new cryptocurrencies and devising strategies to promote futures trading.
- Referral Sales Structure: Build local referral sales networks and develop sales strategies suited to local characteristics to support the growth of the exchange.
- Budget Management: Manage and allocate the budget for local marketing and operations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Leadership experience in a cryptocurrency exchange or similar financial industry.
- Preference given to candidates with management or leadership experience at other exchanges.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Global mindset with an understanding and respect for diverse cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in multinational companies.
- Multilingual skills (English required; additional languages are a plus).
- Deep understanding of blockchain technology and the cryptocurrency market.
