Summary
We are looking for an innovative Creative Director to spearhead the development of interactive experiences that push the boundaries of storytelling. As the Creative Director, you will lead internal and external creatives and collaborate with cross-functional partners to craft the direction of projects. Your creative leadership will set the tone for projects that not only captivate audiences but also align with the strategic goals of both our studio and our brand partners.
You Will:
- Define and communicate the overarching creative direction for immersive experiences, ensuring alignment with brand goals and the strategic objectives of Partner Innovation Studio.
- Lead and inspire internal and external creatives, to deliver world-class experiences that engage and inspire diverse audiences.
- Develop compelling narratives and visual strategies that resonate with global brands and their audiences, translating brand identities into dynamic, interactive experiences.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of creative vision with technical execution, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in interactive design on Roblox.
- Serve as the creative lead in Partner meetings and presentations, articulating concepts and ideas clearly while addressing feedback to evolve the creative vision in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies to continually elevate the quality and impact of our work, positioning the studio as an innovator in the interactive and immersive space.
- Ensure creative consistency and excellence across all deliverables, from concept to final execution, maintaining the highest standards of design, storytelling, and audience engagement.
You Have:
- 10+ years of experience in a creative leadership role within the digital media, entertainment, or gaming industries.
- A proven track record of delivering high-quality creative work that drives engagement and resonates with global audiences.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-disciplinary teams through all stages of the creative process.
- Expertise in interactive design, digital storytelling, and immersive experiences, with an understanding of emerging trends in creative technology.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express creative concepts and encourage both internal teams and external partners.
- A passion for innovation, storytelling, and pushing the creative boundaries of what’s possible in immersive media
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$354,700—$418,700 USD
