The Crypto Operations team is passionate about delivering an excellent end-customer experience and mitigating firm risk while supporting cutting-edge crypto products.

As a Crypto Operations Specialist on the Crypto Money Movements Team, you’ll serve as a technical product expert and own processes critical to maintaining Robinhood’s crypto product. You’ll provide subject-matter expertise on execution and money movement, identify and communicate optimization opportunities to product and engineering teams, as well as design, implement, and improve crypto-related operational processes and procedures.

What you’ll do

1. Own multiple critical business functions, such as corresponding with trading venues, liquidity management, transfers, and custody operations
2. Scope and/or build alerts and tooling around coin withdrawals and other functions
3. Settle with our venues and set up wire transfers each day
4. Be part of a 24/7 On-call rotation
5. Identify inefficiencies in operational processes, and design and implement solutions
6. Document, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures
7. Work closely with our engineering, security, and product teams to improve internal and external products and processes

What you bring

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
2. 2+ years of experience in an operations, data analytics, and/or engineering role
3. Demonstrated experience in cryptocurrency markets and blockchain technology (e.g. working at a crypto company, in a crypto-focused role, crypto projects)
4. Experience managing projects and coordinating with technical and non-technical teams (e.g. Engineering, Data, Product, Legal)
5. Self-starter with experience working autonomously in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments
6. Technical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentations
7. Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and strong problem-solving skills
8. Strong technical skills (SQL, Python) is a plus
9. Demonstrated ability to scale operations and processes in a fast-paced organization

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan.
