Summary

As a Crypto Trader in the Trading & Brokerage division, you will be part of Bitcoin Suisse’s core trading team enabling Best Execution for our clients and contributing to our revenue growth. This versatile role lets you actively participate in the fast-paced crypto markets while collaborating with a team of professionals and crypto natives.

You will have the following responsibilities

1. Executing orders in the best interest of our clients
2. Provide clients and account managers with execution advice
3. Manage the liquidity on the different crypto exchanges
4. Uphold and manage close relationships to exchanges, banks as well as other business partners
5. Identify and implement new possible business opportunities
6. Contribute to projects improving trading products and procedures
7. Assist our developers with the construction of user- and business-friendly software
8. Actively manage and monitor BTCS Nostro positions
9. Align fiat treasury activities with company’s long term financial planning
10. Assist account managers in client meetings
11. Perform daily reconciliation and other trading operational activities
12. Creation of various trading related reports 

What you bring along

1. Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Banking, Mathematics or similar
2. Proven experience in the financial sector as a Trader (trading Equities, FX or Commodities) in Switzerland 
3. Good understanding of regulatory landscape (e.g. market conduct)
4. Strong interest in cryptocurrency markets and knowledge of crypto exchanges of advantage
5. Excellent knowledge and experience in trading mechanisms
6. Dedicated to work evening shifts including weekends
7. Responsible personality with strong team player attitude
8. Entrepreneurial mindset and drive to identify and leverage new business opportunities
9. Ability to work independently, take initiative and ability to stay calm even in hectic situations
10. Fluency in German and English; French and other European languages are of advantage
