Summary

Responsibilities for Customer Service Representative

  1. Respond to customer inquiries and requests via telephone, email, and chat in a timely fashion
  2. Document all inquires, requests, resolutions, and follow-up tasks
  3. Escalate inquires and requests as necessary to the appropriate department or person following outlined guidelines
  4. Display a courteous and empathetic attitude to all customers
  5. Perform research to answer customer inquiries and requests
  6. Grow existing customer accounts through exceptional customer service and effective sales techniques
  7. Meet quantitative performance metrics as outlined
  8. Keep customer accounts current by updating databases during calls

Qualifications for Customer Service Representative

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  2. 1 year of customer service experience
  3. Experience working with inbound and outbound calls, customer retention, and inside sales preferred
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  6. Comfortable working in a high volume role
  7. Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  8. Basic computer skills in various software and web-based applications
