As a Developer Relations Engineer, you will be the vital link between Avalanche and its global developer community. Your role will involve fostering engagement, building strong relationships, creating impactful technical resources, and driving the growth of the blockchain ecosystem. WHAT YOU WILL DO
Grow and Engage the Developer Community
- Build and support a thriving global network of developers using Avalanche
- Collaborate with regional Community Managers to enhance engagement strategies
Create Developer Resources
- Develop technical content for the Avalanche Developer Hub
- Build example applications (e.g., Solidity, TypeScript) for the Avalanche Starter Kit
Deliver Workshops & Events
- Host workshops, webinars, and in-person events to educate developers on Avalanche’s technical capabilities
- Represent Avalanche at global conferences, meetups, and hackathons
Advocate for Developers
- Serve as the voice of the developer community, providing feedback to internal teams on features, tools, and documentation
- Assist developers in troubleshooting issues and integrating with Avalanche’s tech stack
Collaborate Across Teams
- Work closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to enhance the developer experience
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of blockchain fundamentals, with a strong understanding of Layer 1 networks
- Familiarity with Avalanche’s ecosystem, including its core architecture and whitepapers
- Proficiency in building with Solidity, TypeScript, or similar languages
Communication Skills
- Experience creating developer-focused content, such as documentation, tutorials, and blog posts
- Strong public speaking skills with the ability to engage and inspire audiences
Community Engagement
- Proven experience building and nurturing developer communities
- Hands-on participation in events such as hackathons and conferences
Tools & Open Source Knowledge
- Solid understanding of Git and other open-source tools and workflows
Flexibility & Travel
- Willingness to travel globally to attend and host conferences, workshops, and hackathons
Salary Range: $116,320 to $145,400
