Summary

The Director of Business Operations will play a key role in Notabene’s next phase of growth. If you thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, this might be a perfect fit. You’ll be setting up the company’s blueprint for scaling. You’ll work cross-functionally with leaders from across the company to execute our strategic plan, report to the COO, and empower our management team with data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. What you’ll do:

  1. Drive smooth internal operations, including owning the OKR process, cross-team communication, and company-wide accountability and ownership
  2. Implement and monitor real-time data dashboards to provide visibility into key company metrics
  3. Develop data-driven analytics and key insights that inform business decisions and help the business grow
  4. Set up new functions and teams, starting with revenue operations 
  5. Work closely with Finance, Sales, and other teams to solve complex business problems and drive operational planning
  6. Facilitate and own cross-team projects, ensuring alignment across teams
  7. Design, manage, and iterate on our operational and analytical systems and processes, getting us ready to scale
  8. Manage company-wide meetings and communications, and champion setting a high bar for what effective communication looks like for Notabene

You’re a good fit if you have:

  1. Extensive experience (6-10 years) in operations, including 3+ years in an early stage (Series A to C) software company
  2. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus!
  3. Passion for solving complex business problems, diving into data, driving process improvement, and leading change throughout an organization 
  4. Strategic thinker who is excited to roll-up their sleeves and execute
  5. Thrive in uncertain, rapidly changing environments
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to drive consensus with internal and external stakeholders
  7. Exceptional project management, organizational, and time management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  8. The ability to work onsite at our Brooklyn, NY headquarters alongside our COO
