Summary
We’re looking for a Director of DeFi Business Development to lead our DeFi go-to-market.
The perfect hire combines an executive presence with the ability to roll your sleeves up and dive into the trenches of a fast-growth early-stage startup. You will own the DeFi go-to-market strategy, including strategic partnerships, pipeline development, closing and the overall success of our DeFi relationships. You will have your finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the DeFi markets and be able to synthesize insights into actionable opportunities for product and marketing. You should be a degen that loves solving problems, connecting the dots across people and projects and creating something truly new and unique with the potential to change the world.
Responsibilities
- Build pipeline, manage governance processes and close deals with DAO treasuries, DeFi protocols and stablecoins
- Work closely with legal, ops and product to own and scale our Centrifuge Prime product offering
- Ideate and spearhead key strategic relationships with ecosystem partners including custodians, exchanges and protocols
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in DeFi and bring new ideas and opportunities to the team
- Contribute to the growth and success of the project and the DeFi ecosystem
Desired Profile
- 7+ years of business development experience, with at least 3 in crypto, preferably DeFi
- Strong leader and individual contributor
- High EQ and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop intuition for the fast-moving and sophisticated trends within DeFi
- Ability to delve deeply into topics about DAO treasury management, portfolio diversification and the importance of a RWA allocation
- Comfort working independently, within a small team, and in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excitement to hit the ground running on day one and passionate to help lead and shape the future of RWA
