Our ideal candidate ideally has experience in owning and optimizing enterprise-grade resilient cloud environments on AWS or Azure.

What You’ll Do

  1. Help lead (and — if you’re up for it — manage) a team of highly skilled infrastructure engineers while coaching, mentoring, and advocating for them
  2. Collaborate on our technical vision
  3. Lead discussions and implementation of multiple complex projects
  4. Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code base, productivity, and team
  5. Proactively engage with your peers and managers to provide and solicit feedback
  6. Recruit, interview, and develop your interview questions while fostering a culture of excellence, velocity, and humility

What You Need

  1. A minimum of least 7+ years experience, including 3+ years of recruiting and managing a team of multiple senior engineers preferred
  2. Background in owning, architecting, and operating a large-scale production cloud environment in AWS or Azure
  3. Robust knowledge of Terraform, Dockerized containers, and infrastructure best practices
  4. Strong familiarity with Python and Bash programming languages
  5. Familiar with cloud-native technologies such as Datadog, Cloudflare, Amazon ALB, Service Discovery, ECS/EKS, Celery, Kafka, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, Elasticache Redis, and S3
  6. History of thriving in fast-paced cross-functional settings in technical, financial, or audited industries
  7. New York-based for in-person office attendance
