Summary

Ripple is growing and looking to hire a Sales Director based in Dubai. This is a sales quota-carrying position that is responsible for revenue generation through the direct sale of products and services to financial institutions and payments businesses. This role reports to the Managing Director, Ripple Middle East & Africa.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  1. Be responsible for attaining assigned booking targets in the form of sales and revenue quotas
  2. Formulate the strategies, tactics and account plans under the direction of management to develop the leads and relationships within assigned territory/accounts
  3. Run the effective and rapid movement of leads through the sales process, including qualification of prospects; assessment of potential client needs; presentment of Ripple solutions; and expeditious closing of business
  4. Responsible for the daily maintenance of timely and accurate sales pipeline forecasting

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  1. 5 years shown experience in the financial services industry
  2. 10+ years tried experience in a consultative sales role at (preferably) a major enterprise software vendor
  3. Solid understanding of correspondent banking, cross border payments, banking, treasury operations and SWIFT
  4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise multiple initiatives simultaneously and in a timely manner
