Summary
As an eCommerce specialist, you are part of our digital marketing team. You have knowledge and skills in the field of advertising, customer profiling / data, marketing automation and CRO. You have experience with the marketing technology landscape and you are able to set up new campaigns based on data to stimulate conversion. As an eCommerce specialist, you combine your passion for eCommerce with the use of smart marketing techniques to maximally boost the customer experience on the one hand and the conversion on the other.
You will be responsible for working with leading eCommerce brands in various industries, such as fashion, automotive, retail and sports. You will advise our clients on how to use their data effectively and be a sparring partner to help them become a little better every day.
What are you going to do?
- You are responsible for developing and rolling out various eCommerce strategies for our customers and you know how to translate these strategies into tactical plans and KPIs;
- Since you have a healthy dose of results-orientedness, you will proactively work on further optimizing the various digital sales channels, including user experiences regarding payment methods, customer service, loyalty, gamification, conversion optimization and SEO;
- Executing personalized campaigns via various online channels, such as email, website/app (including website personalization and product recommendations), SMS and WhatsApp. In addition, you are able to independently set up effective social media advertisements, incl. A/B testing, conversion tracking and reporting;
- Set up online dashboards and perform monthly data analyses to provide your team and customers with valuable insights;
- In addition to being responsible for our customers' eCommerce stores, you are also responsible for further rolling out a marketplace strategy including Bol.com and Amazon;
- To achieve the above, you will work closely with your creative marketing colleagues as well as with the design and development team;
- Always up to date with the latest eCommerce trends (e.g. AI/ML and AR technology) to maximize the customer experience and thus conversion.
Your profile
- You are an enterprising eCommerce specialist with at least HBO thinking and working level and have at least 2 years of experience in an eCommerce or broader online-making team. Work experience on the agency side is a plus;
- You have a healthy dose of persuasiveness, like to work in a results-oriented manner and can communicate well with customers and colleagues;
- You come up with data-driven and innovative solutions;
- You know how to convert a customer request into an eCommerce strategy;
- You have excellent Dutch speaking and writing skills;
- Knowledge of Shopify, Klaviyo, similar eCommerce tools and knowledge of the English language is a plus, but otherwise it can also be learned 'on the job'.
