Summary

You Will:

1. Be responsible for working with cross-functional product partners and uplevel Reliability
2. Have more hands on involvement with production and understanding key trends and insights
3. Be responsible for building production guardrails for services to use & scale reliably.
4. Care deeply about production health
5. Report to the Director of Reliability Engineering

You Have:

1. Experience building and growing a strong team.
2. Hands on coding experience, and the ability to write code.
3. Knowledge of systems at scale and large-scale distributed infrastructure.
4. 4+ years in engineering management.
5. Customer, team, and quality oriented skills.
6. Assisted engineering teams on scalable design and implementation of their services in respect to infrastructure tiers such as orchestration and service discovery.
7. Experience running SRE teams.
8. BSCS or equivalent experience.

You Are:

1. A leader: you can lead teams and creating a culture of problem solving through large scale engineering.
2. Hands-On-Keyboard: in addition to being a leader, you have strong technical skills and can lead your team to achieve the team's objectives.
3. A planner: You are adept at project management skills and strategic planning through roadmaps and well scoped delivery plans.

This role is Hybrid, requiring three days per week in our San Mateo headquarters.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$283,780—$331,640 USD
