Summary

The Web Platform teams mission is to deliver a healthy and resilient platform that empowers Robinhood web engineering at scale.

As Engineering Manager, you will own day-to-day operations, help the engineers on your team grow their careers, and be responsible for setting the direction of web engineering at Robinhood.

What You Will Do

  • Lead day-to-day execution of the team through standup, retros, and other team processes.
  • Grow the careers of the engineers on the team.
  • Choose the most impactful initiatives to undertake towards the goal of empowering Robinhood's 40+ web engineers.
  • Partner with product teams to help them ship with the highest possible velocity and quality.

What You Bring

  • Experience leading engineering teams in solving complex problems.
  • A strong frontend web engineering background.
  • Strong opinions about how to make developers as productive as possible.
  • Strong communication skills; clarity of thought.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhoods equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

$217,000 - $255,000 USD

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL)

$190,000 - $224,000 USD

Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL)

$169,000 - $199,000 USD
