The Banking teams mission is to make Cash App the primary bank of choice by making banking services relatable, magically simple, and universally accessible. With a growing product suite that includes Cash App Card, Savings, and Free Overdraft Coverage, Cash App is reinventing banking and impacting the lives of millions of customers daily.
We are looking for a Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst to join the Banking Finance team at Cash App. We partner with the business on strategic planning, growth, investment decisions, and performance measurement. As a key contributor on our team, you will work closely with the Product and Ops teams, playing an essential role driving strategy and financial insights on Banking, including Cash App Card, one of the largest products at Cash App.
You will:
- Drive strategic planning: Forecast and analyze financial performance, including owning the forecast model and communicating important takeaways to stakeholders
- Enable data-driven decisions: Develop analysis and synthesize insights to understand cost / benefit tradeoffs and financial impact of new products
- Drive visibility into performance and growth: Assist in preparation of materials and ad-hoc analyses for product business partners, Cash leadership, investor relations, and our board to help drive understanding of performance to internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Partnerships, Data Science, among others to support decision making
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in investment banking, PE / VC, management consulting, or Strategic Finance at a fintech, payments, or high-growth technology company
- Proven expertise with Excel and / or Google Sheets; ability to develop and manage financial models independently
- Excellent business acumen and communication skills
- Ability to execute independently and engage with team members of all levels
Nice to have:
- Interest or experience in fintech, banking, or payments
- Experience with (or enthusiasm to learn) SQL

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.Zone A: USD $111,700 - USD $167,500
Zone B: USD $103,800 - USD $155,800
Zone C: USD $98,200 - USD $147,400
Zone D: USD $89,400 - USD $134,000
