Key responsibilities include:

1. Drive transformation strategy, automation, program and change management to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness across Block.
2. Lead process improvements for Block on the finance area, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in processes, reporting and analytics among others.
3. Collaborate with Financial Systems and Finance Teams to accelerate system solution adoption using agile methodologies.
4. Oversee deliverables, and documentation to maintain project cadence.
5. Analyze business needs and transformation objectives to provide recommendations based on industry best practices.
6. Engage with stakeholders to understand business problems, gather requirements, and develop solutions.
7. Provide expertise in Financial technology, offering guidance, training, and support to teams and stakeholders.
8. Stay updated on industry trends to recommend and implement innovative financial technology solutions.
9. Drive transformation strategy, data insights, automation, program and change management, and compliance to enhance organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

You Have:

1. 6+ years of relevant professional experience
2. Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred
3. Self-starter, experience working with multiple stakeholders in a fast paced environment from diverse backgrounds (finance, systems & engineering, data science…)
4. Experience working with SQL and data visualization tools like Looker or Tableau
5. Proficiency in Gsuite (GSheets, GSlides, GDoc)
6. Working experience with Finance Applications like SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, Kyriba
7. Experience leading projects, including identifying requirements and managing partner expectations 
8. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
9. Detail oriented and a demonstrated strong sense of business management; proven ability to develop new ideas and ability to deliver solutions

Additional Information

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $135,200 - USD $202,800

Zone B: USD $125,800 - USD $188,600

Zone C: USD $119,000 - USD $178,400

Zone D: USD $108,200 - USD $162,200
