Summary

Responsibilities :

1. You are responsible for gameplay, metagame design, user journeys and game economy; you will design any given game elements as needed
2. Drive a strong design processes that leverages problem definition, usability principles, research, sketching, and prototyping of design concepts to come up with design solutions that will enrich the experience of our players and address different game challenges
3. Take creative directions or loosely defined ideas and carefully translate them into a full design including balancing
4. Prototype, iterate, and eventually ship successful game features that fit seamlessly into the overall game
5. Work in a cross-functional team with Product Managers, Product Designers, Engineers and Creatives on turning designs into the final feature.
6. Create working design documents (“specifications” and “balancing / tuning”) used in the course of implementation and that aid in the development of QA test plans

Requirements

1. 3+ years of relevant experience in the mobile gaming or “Live service gaming” industry 
2. Interest in Sports, particularly football 
3. Game design craft with a deep understanding of meta-game design, free-to-play monetization concepts, and live operations tactics.
4. Strong understanding of the mobile free-to-play industry and experience in playing the most successful mobile games
5. Basic knowledge of applied mathematics - statistics, probability, calculus.
6. Skilled in any spreadsheet software (Google Sheets, Excel)
7. Proven track record of shipping/ publishing games/features as a Game Designer
8. Ability to pitch and visually communicate designs clearly and concisely within the team and throughout the company using quick prototypes when needed
9. Ability to work cross-functionally, communicate design influence
10. Curious approach to problem-solving and ability to work through ambiguity to develop clear interaction and end-to-end engagement models for multiple user segments
11. Excellent communication skills
12. Openness to feedback, with a bias toward open dialogue
13. Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English
