Summary

In this role you will support DFINITY's continuous growth across all digital channels, in collaboration with the rest of the Global Marketing & Adoption team. By utilizing growth marketing techniques, you will improve the reach, frequency and ultimately the Share of Voice, conversion and engagement across our main target groups – be it a developer looking to build a Web3 or AI application, an enterprise looking to enhance data security, a government or NGO eager to employ cutting-edge technology to solve real-world problems, or tech enthusiasts who are interested in the unique solutions enabled by the Internet Computer. Working across multiple work streams and projects, you will be championing a user-first and data-driven mindset across digital, improving the performance of campaigns, marketing programs and our website.

You will report into the Head of Marketing Strategy & Performance, and will work very closely with the Institutional Affairs, Adoption, Business Strategy, Growth, and Partnerships teams.

This is a hybrid-onsite position, based out of our soon-to-be-opened office in the heart of San Francisco.

Key responsibilities:

  1. Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns and programs, ensuring branding and messaging consistency across all channels
  2. Optimize marketing campaigns, monitor performance and adjust strategies to achieve KPIs and drive ROI
  3. Ensure effective allocation of resources via proper forecasting, tracking and reporting on campaign performance
  4. Improve website effectiveness, creation of landing pages and the blog
  5. Implement SEO for the website, with the support of an SEO agency
  6. Plan and execute paid search, social media, and display advertising for core ICP and products
  7. Ensure campaign testing and continuous data-driven improvement
  8. Incorporate tools to improve website analytics capabilities and suggest improvements to the website structure and content
  9. Work collaboratively with other teams to generate the campaign assets needed for growth marketing initiatives
  10. Promote data-driven content creation, including SEO-driven content marketing
  11. Plan Inbound Marketing campaigns to attract the right leads
  12. Oversee ad unit development, testing, and analysis for continuous improvement.
  13. Work with agency and internal designers to ensure highly engaging graphic and motion design assets are produced for display advertising
  14. Provide weekly reports and insights to the wider Marketing team and Leadership

Required skills and attributes:

  1. 8+ years of proven experience in growth marketing
  2. 2+ years of marketing experience with blockchain/Web3 projects
  3. Expertise in Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Retargeting, Affiliate, CRO, and SEO
  4. Expertise with acquisition analysis, A/B testing, and ad fraud detection
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of mobile performance marketing, trends, and best practices
  6. Excellent copywriting skills and spoken English (bonus points for being multilingual).
  7. Hands-on, proactive and diligent
  8. Keen interest in Crypto, Blockchain, DeFi, AI (comfort using decentralized Crypto software such as wallets, DEXs, etc. a plus!)
  9. An analytical mindset and a proven track record in driving successful digital marketing campaigns
  10. Be process-driven, detail-oriented but also pragmatic and service-focused
  11. Competent working in a fast-paced environment
  12. Be able to work in a remote, distributed team

Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $175,000/yr

This position can be considered across multiple levels. Total compensation at DFINITY consists of base salary + generous bonus and is determined based on multiple factors including job leveling, areas of expertise, educational background, geographic location and overall experience.
