The Organic Growth team at Kraken is responsible for driving sustainable, scalable user acquisition strategies across our suite of mobile apps, including Kraken, Kraken Pro, Kraken Wallet, and several new apps in development. We focus on optimizing user discovery, engagement, and conversion across organic channels. Our team thrives on data-driven decision-making, experimentation, and leveraging cutting-edge growth strategies to ensure Kraken remains a leader in the crypto industry. The opportunity
- Drive app growth campaigns: You’ll work with cross-functional stakeholders in marketing and product to pounce on key industry events, set up campaigns and drive users into our apps to transact, share, etc.
- App store optimization (ASO): Leading efforts to improve organic traffic through metadata optimization, keyword and category strategy, and app SEO across all Kraken mobile apps. Bonus points if you can get us featured in the app store(s).
- Localized app store strategies: Managing and optimizing localized app store pages to drive growth in key global markets.
- Conversion rate optimization (CRO): Collaborating with the CRO team to support app store experiments that maximize install conversion rates. You understand the relationship between user psychology and funnel math, and have experience running a/b tests and custom product pages to drive incremental conversion.
- Referral growth: Developing and optimizing mobile refer a friend and incentive programs to enhance virality, improve k-factor, and drive organic user acquisition.
- Data-driven decision making: Using analytics tools to track, measure, and optimize organic growth performance, ensuring data-backed strategies drive user acquisition.
- Reputation management: Improving our app store reviews and ratings to ensure we maintain a strong brand presence, finding opportunities to create review loops at the right moment by partnering with product and lifecycle teams.
- Competitive and market research: Staying ahead of industry trends, competitor ASO strategies, and emerging mobile growth tactics to keep Kraken at the forefront of the market.
Skills you should HODL
- Mobile growth expertise: Demonstrated experience driving organic user acquisition for mobile apps at a top-tier brand.
- Data analytics skills: Strong proficiency in data analysis, with experience using tools like Appsflyer, Mixpanel, Tableau, App Store Connect, Google Play Console, and third-party ASO tools. Ideally, you have experience with on and offchain data analysis.
- Deep understanding of growth fundamentals: Knowledge of growth models, virality mechanics, k-factor optimization, referral strategies, and conversion funnels.
- App store optimization (ASO) mastery: Proven ability to optimize metadata, improve keyword rankings, and enhance store page conversions. You should have experience driving growth on top tier mobile apps.
- Strategic and creative thinking: Ability to balance data-driven decision-making with creative problem-solving to drive meaningful growth. We’re looking for someone who knows best practices and can add incremental value beyond that.
- Passion for crypto: Strong interest in blockchain technology, digital assets, and the evolving financial landscape. It’s important to us that you already have an active interest so you can translate that knowledge into effective growth results from day one.
- Collaboration and communication: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, design and engineering teams to align on strategies and execute growth initiatives. You will be in front of executives regularly presenting your findings and results.
