Summary

We are seeking a dynamic & goal-oriented 

Head of Business Development

 to lead and transform our sales and business development efforts. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth, building strategic partnerships, and expanding our market presence.

The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a strong understanding of IT sales, Web3 technologies, and a proven track record of delivering results in fast-paced environments.

In this role, you will have the autonomy to shape and optimize the business development strategy, create a high-performing team, and drive the execution of sales initiatives. Your entrepreneurial mindset, strategic thinking, and collaborative approach will be pivotal in scaling our business and achieving sustainable growth.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 4+ years in IT sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  2. Web3 Expertise: Understanding of blockchain technologies, trends, and industry dynamics.
  3. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead, inspire, and build high-performing teams.
  4. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders and build lasting relationships.
  5. Strategic Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think critically, solve problems, and align strategies with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Client-Oriented Growth:

  1. Drive revenue increase by developing and executing business development strategies.
  2. Independently manage and close high-value deals with clients.
  3. Represent the company in global markets, building and nurturing relationships with strategic partners and clients.
  4. Identify new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential revenue streams.
  5. Collaborate with various teams to work with leads/clients on different stages (Account Managers, Legal, Pre-sale team, etc).

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  1. Lead the business development team with full accountability for performance, metrics, and processes.
  2. Oversee the full sales cycle, ensuring seamless execution from lead generation to deal closure.
  3. Collaborate closely with Marketing, AM, C-level and other departments to align strategies and optimize results.
  4. Improve and maintain systems for referral partnerships to expand the company’s network and drive growth.
  5. Monitor sales data & metrics (e.g., win/loss analysis, STA, CAC, ROI, RFP conversion rate, etc.), make data-drivem decisions and implement improvements for increased effectiveness.

Strategic Leadership:

  1. Actively participate in strategic planning and decision-making as part of the Business Team.
  2. Develop and refine internal rules, standards, and processes to drive continuous growth of BD Department and some of the revenue streams.
  3. Contribute to the development of long-term objectives and actionable plans that align with organizational goals.
  4. Act as a proactive leader, demonstrating an entrepreneurial mindset and solution-oriented approach.
