Summary

Duration: Full-time; Location: Remote (from UTC-5 to UTC+3), Preferred: Europe 

We are looking for a highly skilled and proactive Head of Ecosystem with a proven background in web3 to join our team at the WalletConnect Foundation. 

As the Head of Ecosystem, you will play a pivotal role in growing the WalletConnect ecosystem across all stakeholders - developers, node operators, strategic partners and token holders. You will work closely with our leadership team (Founder, CFO, Executive Director and Board) to drive growth, establish strategic partnerships, and support the mission to build a leading blockchain ecosystem globally.

Day to Day:

1. Establish WalletConnect Foundation’s Ecosystem Vision, Strategy and Go-To-Market with a DAO-driven approach.   
2. Grow the Ecosystem across all strategic stakeholders, verticals and the broader community. Come up with creative strategies to partner with solutions/individuals for a broader reach and longer impact, from the degen realm to institutional side. 
3. Work with our leadership teams to establish Ecosystem Roadmap, OKRs and KPIs. 
4. Oversee the day-to-day execution according to the defined strategy. 
5. Have an analytical approach to decision making around all matters such as market research/insights, trend identification, customer/client segments, mapping user journeys, etc.
6. Design, test and rapidly implement growth strategies, including but not limited to developer facing grant and funding programmes, grass-roots community building IRL and online.
7. Co-ordinate the technical council and other community councils to drive participation in the network.

Requirements

Must Haves:

1. Demonstrated exceptional performance in BizDev/Commercial/Growth roles within the blockchain space 
2. 5+ years of experience in successfully driving web3 Ecosystem, Community, Growth and/or Partnerships from an early stage to to a bigger scale. 
3. Wide professional network and strong reputation within the industry. 
4. Creative and resourceful. Always looking for new and innovative ways to drive growth. 
5. Passion and deep understanding of blockchain ecosystems and communities. 
6. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
7. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with high attention to detail.
8. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
9. Self-Starter. You have a strong bias to action and get things done. 

Nice to Haves:

1. Experience working within Crypto Foundations, Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) or other community-driven structures.
2. Membership in various blockchain/web3 communities.
