Summary

Role Overview:

As the Head of Finance at Steelo, you will lead our financial operations, ensuring efficient cost management, accurate forecasting, and compliance with global crypto regulations. Your role will be crucial in developing and executing financial strategies to drive growth, managing treasury functions, and supporting fundraising efforts. Additionally, you will play a key role in optimising our tokenomics during the ICO launch, aligning financial planning with our strategic goals. This position requires a seasoned financial leader with deep expertise in finance, crypto markets, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Operations:
2. Oversee and manage day-to-day financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
3. Develop and maintain financial reporting systems to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
4. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance against targets.
5. Compliance:
6. Ensure compliance with financial, tax, and accounting regulations in the UK and other relevant jurisdictions.
7. Navigate and implement necessary procedures to adhere to global crypto regulations, including KYC/AML requirements.
8. Manage internal controls and audit processes to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.
9. Strategy:
10. Lead treasury management, including investment strategies and risk management.
11. Conduct financial planning and analysis to support decision-making and drive growth.
12. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and execute long-term financial strategies.
13. Funding:
14. Support the CEO and COO in fundraising activities, including investor relations and pitch preparations.
15. Create detailed financial plans and analyses to guide the strategic allocation of funds to maximize growth potential.
16. Oversee the financial aspects of capital raising, ensuring optimal deployment of raised funds.
17. Bonus Responsibility:
18. Assist with tokenomics development during the launch of our ICO.
19. Work closely with the ICO team to optimize tokenomics models, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and market positioning.
20. Provide insights and strategies to enhance the effectiveness and appeal of our tokenomics structure.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, ideally within the tech, fintech, or cryptocurrency sectors.
3. Extensive experience in financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
4. Demonstrated expertise in compliance, with in-depth knowledge of UK, EU, US, and global financial regulations, including KYC/AML and cryptocurrency-related regulations.
5. Significant experience in treasury management, financial planning, and strategic analysis.
6. Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain technology, and ICO/tokenomics models.
7. Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
8. Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic insights.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
10. Proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills.

In addition, smart contracts ability to automate the redistribution of transaction fees to respective token-holding communities enable us to build an eco-system where users have financial incentives to fuel the platform with content, social interactions, and liquidity.
