Summary
The Hire Account Manager main purpose is to manage a Project from start to finish, gain new business accounts for the Dry Hire, Product Sales, Theatre and Concert Touring sectors. Additionally, they will develop and maintain existing client relationships and produce Dry Hire and Consumable quotations for clients.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Deliver World-Class Service to our external and internal customers
- Manage a project from start to finish, including but not limited to:
- Book equipment utilising the equipment within our own inventory
- Arrange transfers between depots where required
- See the Big Picture by arranging sub hires efficiently and effectively
- Book internal and external transport
- Liaise with Asset Logistics when a Project/Job is ready to print
- Look after the lead production electrician and their team during touring prep days at the office
- Manage payment terms and invoicing schedules
- Book and arrange replacement equipment to be delivered to a client
- Drive Results by gaining new business accounts, maintaining existing accounts for the Dry Hire, Product Sales, Theatre and Concert Touring sectors. Also, taking enquiries from customers and producing accurate quotes for Dry Hire and Consumable Sales
- Where required, produce capex report and a business case for new investments
- Communicating effectively across all departments of the company
- Out of hours emergency contact – receive calls and deal with any issues, whether that’s advice or organising extra or replacement equipment to be delivered
- Represent us at exhibitions such as PLASA Show, PLASA Focus and ABTT
- Keep all work-related information confidential and always acting in a professional manner, in all work and industry-social situations
- Keep marketing informed of any PR worthy activity, seeking approval from necessary parties
- Work with the Marketing Team to create marketing strategies which will benefit the company
- Keep yourself up to date with new trends, products & new technology in the industry
- Do the Right Thing by following all safety practices and policies
- Greeting visitors and asking them to sign in and put on a high vis if applicable, making them aware of our H&S practices and policies
- When required, taking card payments for Hires and Sales

- Previous experience within the industry is essential
