Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Payroll Executive to join our team. This entry-level role is ideal for recent graduates with a background in Commerce or Business Administration and a strong command of advanced Excel functions. The HR Payroll Executive will assist in payroll processing activities and gain valuable hands-on experience in HR operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in payroll processing tasks, including data entry, calculations, and verification of employee salary payments, deductions, and bonuses
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of payroll records, PF -Tax Deductions, reports, and documentation
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related issues, deductions, and tax withholdings
  • Collaborate with senior HR Payroll / Finance Team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Learn and apply relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to payroll processing
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions to analyze payroll data, identify discrepancies, and generate reports
  • Assist in the implementation and optimization of payroll systems and processes
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information with discretion

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) is required
  • 0-6 months of experience in HR, payroll processing, or a related field (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong command of advanced Excel functions, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and macros
  • Excellent numerical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment

Additional Requirements

  • Fulltime -Internship or coursework in HR, payroll management, or related fields
  • Basic understanding of payroll laws, PF-ESI, regulations, taxation and compliance requirements
  • Experience with payroll software and systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) is added advantage
