Summary

Role Overview: The Senior Institutional Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding Mantle Network's presence within the institutional market. This role involves developing and managing relationships with Venture Capital firms, Hedge Funds, and other institutional investors. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the crypto and blockchain space, strong connections within the institutional investment community, and a proven track record of closing high-impact deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Partnerships: Identify, initiate, and manage relationships with top-tier Venture Capital firms, Hedge Funds, and other institutional investors to drive strategic partnerships and investment opportunities for Mantle Network.
  2. Deal Structuring & Negotiation: Lead and manage end-to-end deal processes, including structuring, negotiating, and closing complex deals with institutional partners.
  3. Market Research & Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the institutional investment landscape. Provide strategic insights to the executive team.
  4. Networking & Representation: Represent Mantle Network at industry conferences, events, and meetings with institutional investors. Build and maintain a strong network within the financial and investment communities.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Legal, Product, Marketing, and Engineering, to ensure successful implementation and execution of partnership deals.
  6. Reporting & KPIs: Develop and maintain a robust reporting system to track the progress and outcomes of BD activities. Set and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to institutional partnerships and deal flow.

Your Craft:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in business development, investment banking, venture capital, or a similar role within the crypto, blockchain, or fintech industry.
  2. Network: Established relationships with Venture Capital firms, Hedge Funds, and institutional investors.
  3. Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain technology, DeFi, and the broader crypto landscape. Familiarity with Layer 2 solutions is a plus.
  4. Skills: Strong negotiation, deal structuring, and relationship management skills. Ability to manage complex projects and drive them to successful completion.
  5. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  6. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
