As part of SmartDev’s aggressive growth plan we are looking to expand our development team SmartDev offers tailor-made mobile apps and websites with the most popular frontend and back-end technologies.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Design, implement, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Framework.
2. Develop high-quality code with a focus on security, including encryption and decryption methods to protect sensitive data.
3. Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure robust, scalable systems.
4. Collaborate with DevOps and back-end teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
5. Participate in code reviews and testing to ensure robustness and reliability.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and microservice architecture.
2. At least 2 – 3+ years of experience in Java development.
3. Strong understanding of software security principles, including encryption/decryption methods and protecting sensitive data.
4. Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating them into back-end systems.
5. Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
6. Ability to work in a collaborative, Agile environment.

Preferred Skills:

1. Knowledge of the payments industry, including wallet systems and payment gateways.
2. Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
3. Performance optimization techniques for distributed systems.
4. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
