The Department: Crypto Core (Onchain, Exchange)

Gemini is a regulated, full service, crypto service provider where technology is the core of the company. Our flagship product, the Gemini Exchange was built to be a compliant and secure platform to buy, sell and store crypto. Our Onchain department is responsible for all of our blockchain native products and features, including Custody, Staking, Wallet Management and Gemini’s own GUSD stablecoin.  

Our Product team is made up of skilled product managers with experience in tech, banking, fintech, and cryptocurrency. We draw from top players in the financial and technology industries who are ready to stretch themselves and face the unique and exciting challenges of the digital asset world. We are an internal “think tank” that tackles complex, cross-functional projects, iterates on existing products, and acts as the go-to team for Leadership’s technical vision for the company’s flagship exchange business.

The Role: Lead Product Manager

We're looking for an entrepreneurial, mission-driven, Product Manager to help us define and grow our Onchain products with a particular focus on custody. This role will expand and build upon the vision of the product, define feature road-maps, and drive execution with our Engineering & Design teams. The ideal candidate has solid experience building innovative technologies from scratch, is driven by data and the needs to build world-class products, and has a pragmatic approach to getting high impact enhancements to market quickly. Experience in product planning, customer discovery, and implementing product development processes are all vital for this role. 

We are looking for a Lead Product Manager deeply passionate about developing and scaling our custody product, with a keen focus on driving growth. This role underpins our mission to empower users through crypto, by delivering best-in-class custody solutions that caters to all customer segments and use cases. The ideal candidate combines a drive for innovation with a thorough understanding of digital assets custody, aiming to set new benchmarks in user experience and operational excellence. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Marketing, as well as other Product departments, you'll employ a data-driven decision-making process and a growth mindset to ensure our platform's features and functionality lead the market in innovation, efficiency, and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leverage competitive research, customer data, and your understanding of our strategy to help build world class custody solutions. 
  2. Lead development of the Product Engagement roadmap and manage execution with engineering & design.
  3. Create experiences that drive growth, customer engagement, revenue and community.
  4. Own the quality of the product and have a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality to deliver best in class products.
  5. Influence and collaborate with stakeholders and leadership teams to craft new solutions and product features.

Qualifications:

  1. 8+ years of experience in end-to-end product management at high-growth technology companies (e.g., creating product roadmap(s) from conception to launch).
  2. Experience trading, managing or storing crypto required (personally or professionally).
  3. Have a successful track record of leading cross-functional organization through product delivery. 
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems.
  5. Experience developing a multi-year vision, strategy and roadmap.
  6. Strong commitment to excellence.

The compensation & benefits package for this role in Singapore includes:

U.S. Salary Range:

The base salary range for this role is between $172,000 - $215,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
