The Role: Lead Recruiter

Gemini is looking for a Talent Acquisition leader to play a key role in the strategic growth of our teams. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for tech and/or non tech functions across the globe.

Responsibilities:

  1. Recruit active and passive candidates across multiple technology-related searches (e.g. Infrastructure, Frontend, Backend, Mobile Engineering)
  2. Proactively identify and assess talent using a variety of creative sourcing methodologies (e.g. Gem, LinkedIn, Vettery)
  3. Use our ATS, Greenhouse, and other tools to manage prospects, build robust candidate pipelines and drive metrics
  4. Create successful sourcing campaigns and provide data-driven recommendations to team members and key stakeholders
  5. Partner closely with hiring managers to drive mutually agreeable assessment process, receive and take action on feedback, and deliver a consistently high level of partnership
  6. Monitor and report on recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and candidate quality
  7. Continuously improve recruitment processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
  8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  9. Close offers and help onboard new employees

Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of recruiting and sourcing experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment
  2. 10+ years experience sourcing with LinkedIn and other tools
  3. Proven ability to successfully identify, manage, and engage with exceptional candidates in high growth environments
  4. Proven track record of continuous improvement through problem solving and producing solutions 
  5. Strong stakeholder management experience
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Superior attention to detail, with strong multi-tasking and organization skills
  8. Strong sense of urgency, with proven ability to act swiftly under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and processes
  9. Experience managing applicant tracking systems, preferably Greenhouse
  10. Experience and passion for using quantitative data do guide day to day decisions, report progress to stakeholders, and justify recommendations

Salary Range:

The base salary range for this role is between $137,000 - $172,000 in the State of New York, the State of California and the State of Washington. This range is not inclusive of our discretionary bonus or equity package. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider a number of factors including skillset, experience, job scope, and current market data.
