Summary
We’re looking for a
Legal Counsel
to help Quidax navigate the complex legal and regulatory landscape of fintech, crypto, and payments. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance, mitigating risk, and enabling business growth while working closely with the Legal Manager and cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Be Owning
Ensure Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
Achieve 100% compliance with relevant fintech and crypto regulations across key markets.
Monitor and analyze regulatory changes, advising leadership on risks and opportunities.
Lead proactive legal strategies to mitigate risks and ensure smooth licensing processes.
Enable Business Growth While Managing Legal Risk
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts that protect Quidax’s interests while enabling partnerships.
Provide legal guidance on new product launches, market expansion, and strategic initiatives.
Support business teams with clear, actionable legal advice to drive revenue and operations.
Improve Legal Processes & Operational Efficiency
Reduce contract review turnaround time by 30% through process optimization.
Develop and implement scalable legal frameworks that align with business objectives.
Enhance collaboration between legal, compliance, finance, and product teams for seamless execution.

Job requirements
What We’re Looking For
You have 5+ years of legal experience in fintech, payments, or technology sectors.
You have a deep understanding of payment law, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and contract negotiation.
You have a proven ability to work across multiple legal disciplines (commercial, regulatory, IP, risk).
You have an LL.B. and Call to Bar; additional business or finance qualifications are a plus.
You have strong research, drafting, and negotiation skills.
You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving, and remote-first environment.

You may have experience advising on cross-border transactions
You may have exposure to regulatory filings and licensing frameworks
You may have a background in dispute resolution or risk advisory
