Summary

We’re looking for a Marketing and Community Lead who is obsessed with bringing better financial products to everyone. The right person for the role should feel equally comfortable working with key partners and key opinion leaders on co-marketing, and chatting with community members on Discord or Telegram. They should be self-motivated, ambitious, and a data-driven decision-maker.

Core team member responsibilities

1. Work to solve hard technical problems at the cutting edge of blockchain research alongside the founders

2. Be empowered to make bold technical and strategic decisions 

3. Play a critical role in determining the people we hire, our culture, our engineering practices, and the products we ship.

Role

1. Plan and execute a GTM plan to bring a better financial system to everyone.
2. Manage all public communications (Twitter, Discord, Telegram, etc.) for Plaza Finance, the first platform for on-chain bonds and leverage.
3. Own key metrics like user growth and community engagement with the Founder.
4. Collaborate with the Founder of Convexity Labs to make strategic product and go-to-market decisions.

Qualifications

1. Track record of driving organic growth to an early-stage community in Crypto/DeFi.
2. Experience running social media/external communications for a brand.
3. Deep understanding of crypto users and culture.
4. Professional or native English language proficiency.
5. Existing relationships with KOLs and media outlets.
6. Ability to analyze key metrics and user data to drive products and marketing decisions.
