Summary
This role is available for qualified candidates based in Europe, with a hybrid work model available for candidates located in our offices in Malta, Madrid, or Lyon.
We’re seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving data-driven decisions within the Marketing department. The ideal candidate will analyze key marketing metrics, provide actionable insights, and offer strategic recommendations to optimize our branding and digital acquisition efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze top-funnel metrics and KPIs to support branding strategies, leveraging sponsorships, brand ambassadors, and influencer collaborations.
- Evaluate performance across digital acquisition channels such as Paid Social, SEO, Affiliates, PPC, and Programmatic, understanding their underlying technologies.
- Collaborate with the media planning team to measure and enhance the success of online media campaigns.
- Contribute towards segmentation projects to enhance targeting and improve campaign efficiency.
- Deliver proactive, in-depth analyses and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring they can make informed decisions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards tailored to business needs, offering clear visualizations and actionable insights.
- Encourage greater stakeholder engagement with data, reports, and dashboards to foster a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Monitor and track key metrics daily, addressing anomalies or unexpected trends to prevent potential issue
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience in a similar role.
- Graduated in Statistics, Mathematics, Marketing or a similar quantitative field.
- Familiarity with marketing disciplines such as SEM, Online Display, Affiliates and Social Channels.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, GTM, Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Braze, or similar platforms.
- Proficient in SQL for database querying.
- Experience with Python and/or R for data transformation, analysis and modelling.
- Skilled in using Tableau or similar for BI reporting.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive and initiative-taker.
- Excellent in communicating and presenting insights.
Good to have:
- Experience with customer data platforms like Segment.
- Knowledge of machine learning algorithms applied to marketing use cases.
