Optimum’s vision is to build TCP/IP for Web3. Crypto-native communication layer: Reimagine blockchain data transmission with coded network.
About the Role: We are looking for a Mid-level blockchain developer with a strong focus on base layer infrastructure and distributed systems. The ideal candidate should have experience in protobuf, network programming, and implementing distributed protocols. Familiarity with blockchain technology and concepts such as cryptography, polynomial commitments, signature schemes, and hash functions is essential.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize low-latency systems and protocols
- Implement distributed protocols and network solutions
- Work on highly scalable P2P or blockchain networks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of protobuf, network programming, and distributed protocols
- Familiarity with blockchain technology and related cryptographic concepts
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in low-latency optimizations and distributed systems
- Experience working remotely and asynchronously, with a moderate overlap in time availability during USA Eastern Time Zone working hours.
