About the Role:

We are looking for an ML Engineer to join our team. Our ML engineers are responsible for bootstrapping topics on Allora with models to fit a diverse array of use cases. Their models and the tools they make to build these models are often shared with our community to facilitate participation in Allora and contribution toward a machine intelligence greater than the sum of its parts. ML Engineers report to our Head of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Participating as a data scientist within the Allora Network
  2. Working with our data provider partners and Research team to create, deploy, and release ML models and new datasets, for use by Allora Labs and the Allora community
  3. Discovering and analyzing datasets to create highly predictive features and insights
  4. Building ML libraries and frameworks for robust testing and fast deployment of ML models
  5. Engaging with open source data science communities to stay current with the latest innovations and establish Allora Labs as a data science thought leader.

Requirements

  1. 3+ years building and deploying ML models to production in a commercial setting
  2. 5+ years Python programming experience, particularly on the data science stack
  3. 5+ years SQL
  4. Strong statistical skills and scientific mindset
  5. Experience working with complex datasets
  6. Experience monitoring ML models and creating automated pipelines
  7. Experience building modular, extensible and reusable ML frameworks 
  8. Strong English communication and documentation skills
  9. Team player with a collaborative mindset
  10. Technical degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent (ML education is a plus)

Nice to Have:

  1. Contributions to prominent open source ML-related projects
  2. Previous web3 experience
  3. A notable following or status in data science communities
