Summary

We are searching for an experienced and self-driven Operations Manager/Head of Operations who will report directly to our CEO. As the Operations Manager/Head of Operations, you will work to manage and optimize the general operations of Aptos Labs. This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with executive leadership and teams such as Business Development, People Operations, Marketing, Ecosystem, Legal, and several more. 

What you will be doing

  1. Operational Strategy and Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and scalability within our company
  2. Resource Management: Manage resources effectively, including infrastructure, network resources, and human capital, to support the growth and stability of our platform.
  3. Collaborate closely with the Business Development and Marketing teams to optimize marketing strategies and enhance brand awareness, ensuring maximum value extraction from partnerships/deals once they’re closed. 
  4. Work with Aptos’ Head of Ecosystem to ensure operational support and alignment of initiatives that enhance partnerships, community/developer engagement, and ecosystem growth, fostering a synergistic relationship between operational efficiency and ecosystem development.
  5. Liaise with the People Operations Manager to align operational initiatives with HR strategies, ensuring seamless integration of HR policies and procedures into daily operations and fostering a supportive and productive work environment.
  6. Liaise with our recruiting team to streamline recruitment operations, refine processes, and implement best practices to reduce time-to-fill roles, ensure alignment with compensation benchmarks, and attract top talent effectively, optimizing the company's human capital acquisition strategy
  7. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within our operational processes and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate them.
  8. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of operations professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture while providing guidance and support as needed.

 Role Requirements:  

  1. Operational Expertise: Strong background in operations management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in optimizing operational processes and resource management.
  2. Industry Experience: At least 5 years of operational experience within crypto/web3, FinTech, or other technology verticals
  3. Cross functional: strong track record of interfacing with key stakeholders from departments such as Business Development/Partnerships, Marketing, People Ops., Ecosystem, etc.
  4. Strong EQ, with fine-tuned instincts and problem-solving skills 
  5. Demonstrates sound, consistent, and trusted judgment
  6. Ability to communicate effectively and proactively with leads and individual contributors
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  8. Deep experience with people data analytics; ability to influence with data

The base salary range for this full-time position is $153,700 - $215,500. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and typical maximum target for new hire salaries for the position of a candidate based in the Bay Area at any level. We do hire exceptionally talented professionals with decades of experience in their field. As such, our range may be higher than what is displayed. Our base salary ranges are determined by experience and location, and we hire at all levels for multiple roles. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location, job-related skills demonstrated during the interviews, working experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only and do not include equity, tokens, or benefits.
