Summary

The Operations Specialist (Night Shift) will work on-site for BitGo Europe in Frankfurt during the hours of 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM. This individual will perform high-volume, complex, and confidential operational activities while ensuring that tasks adhere to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide operational support for banking transactions, including both regular and unscheduled withdrawals upon client request, during night shift hours.
  2. Support the withdrawal verification process, vault operations, and post-transaction monitoring until on-chain settlement is confirmed.
  3. Oversee physical vault operations for night-time business activities, ensuring secure handling of transactions.
  4. Open, close, and maintain accounts with accuracy and timeliness during night operations.
  5. Contribute to data management by assisting with reconciliations and reports, including daily, monthly, and quarterly AuC (Assets under Custody) reports for internal and external audits.
  6. Troubleshoot account issues in collaboration with the Trust Operations team, providing timely responses to inquiries and working with other departments such as Sales, KYC/AML, IT Security, and Customer Success to resolve problems.
  7. Maintain hardware and software required for night-shift operations, ensuring that backup systems are functional and assisting with updates for token support and other functionalities.
  8. Take on additional tasks as required by the Management Team, focusing on learning and gaining experience in operational functions.

Requirements 

  1. Availability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 3:00 AM is mandatory.
  2. 1-2 years of operations experience preferred or a Bachelor's Degree/Advanced Degree with an interest in working within financial services or cryptocurrency.
  3. Highly effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Accuracy and attention to detail in performing daily tasks.
  5. Highly organized, comfortable using work tools like email, spreadsheets, and databases to manage and track tasks.
  6. Extremely high sense of urgency when servicing both internal and external clients, ensuring prompt responses and support.
  7. Analytical skills with a positive attitude, along with active listening and problem-solving abilities to assist in issue resolution.
  8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to constant improvement in daily workflows.
  9. Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  10. A team player with developing judgment and decision-making skills, ready to collaborate and learn from others.
