Summary
As a Partnership Marketing Manager at Somnia one of the Foundation’s key initiatives you will play a crucial role in nurturing and expanding our partner network. Your mission will be to forge and deepen relationships with strategic collaborators, aligning their interests with Somnia’s overarching goals to create mutual growth, drive impactful campaigns, and heighten brand visibility within the Web3 ecosystem.
In this role, you will own partnership-driven marketing initiatives end-to-end from identifying high-value partners and overseeing campaign execution to ensuring measurable results and sustained engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including growth, product, content, and community, as well as maintain direct touch points with external stakeholders. Your ultimate success will come from your ability to engage daily with partners (often via Telegram and other communication channels), work seamlessly within a distributed team, and constantly innovate to deliver meaningful value.
Responsibilities:
- Partnership Strategy & Management
- Leading partnership marketing across the Web3, blockchain, NFT, Metaverse, and gaming landscapes.
- Develop a systematic approach for evaluating potential partnerships, considering strategic alignment, audience fit, and long-term mutual value.
- Relationship Building & Maintenance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key partners, maintaining ongoing dialogue through Telegram and other platforms.
- Establish trust and foster strong rapport, ensuring partners feel supported, informed, and valued.
- Proactively manage partner expectations, anticipating needs, and resolving issues promptly.
- Campaign Leadership & Execution
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of co-marketing campaigns with partners.
- Collaborate closely with internal marketing teams such as Growth Marketing, Community, Content, and Design to ensure unified messaging and seamless campaign rollouts.
- Track and report on campaign performance, leveraging insights to optimize future initiatives and enhance partner outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work hand-in-hand with the Growth Marketing Manager and Community Lead to integrate partnerships into broader growth, community engagement, and influencer strategies.
- Communicate partner-related updates and insights across the organization, ensuring all teams understand the strategic value and operational status of each partnership.
- Market Insight & Innovation
- Stay informed about the evolving Web3 landscape, identifying emerging trends, potential collaborative opportunities, and innovative ways to drive value through partnerships.
- Leverage cutting-edge tools, platforms, and distribution channels to maximize partnership impact and ROI.
- Daily Engagement & Responsiveness
- Remain active in key communication channels (particularly Telegram) to provide timely responses, updates, and solutions.
- Represent Somnia’s interests professionally, proactively, and positively in all partner-facing interactions.
Qualifications:
- Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in partnership marketing, business development, or related roles within the Web3, blockchain, or gaming sector.
- Proven track record of developing successful B2B partnerships that drive measurable results.
- Strong project management skills with an ability to own initiatives from ideation to completion.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust quickly.
- Web3 Focus:
- Deep familiarity with the Web3 ecosystem, including blockchain projects, decentralized applications, and NFT/metaverse platforms.
- Comfortable navigating the unique partnership dynamics and community expectations prevalent in the crypto and blockchain space.
- Personality & Mindset:
- Likable, approachable personality with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
- Adaptable, solution-oriented, and proactive in managing evolving partner needs.
