Our team takes a collaborative approach, working hand-in-hand with analytics, product, and design teams to create and execute an effective marketing strategy. We obsess over CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost), underlying metrics such as CPSU (Cost Per Sign-Up), CPM (Cost Per Mille) and CPC (Cost Per Click) and the underlying drivers of each.

The opportunity
- Lead the strategy, development, and execution of Kraken's paid social campaigns aimed at user acquisition and growth
- Optimise paid social campaigns to achieve CAC goals across each of our priority geos and customer segments
- Monitor, analyse, and report on campaign effectiveness, providing detailed analysis and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement
- Effectively manage a multi-million dollar performance marketing budget for social media channels
- Develop and test new creative strategies to consistently improve performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data analytics, product marketing, and creative teams, to align on campaign goals and strategies
- Manage multiple work streams from concept through to execution and analysis
- Stay up-to-date with new and emerging social media channels, ensuring Kraken's performance marketing efforts leverage the latest trends and opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and other external partners

Skills you should HODL
- 6+ years of related experience in performance marketing with a focus on paid social media campaigns
- Experience managing and optimising paid social acquisition campaigns that meet or exceed KPI targets, including CAC, CPSU, and CPI
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Test and learn mindset with a passion for experimentation
- Proficiency with social media advertising platforms including Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, X Ads, Reddit ads, Tiktok ads, and Snap ads
- Proficiency with mobile measurement partners (MMPs) such as Appsflyer or Branch.
- Familiarity with analytics and data visualization platforms such as Google Analytics and Tableau
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience managing relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and other external partners
- Entrepreneurial mindset and a self-starter; able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Experience in consumer tech products with a focus on transactional goals is crucial.
