Summary
Are you ready to take the lead in enhancing the payment experience for millions of Roblox users? As an Economy Revenue Engineer, your contributions will not only fuel Roblox's rapid expansion but also ensure the financial well-being of our vibrant community.
You will:
- Innovate and Build: Design and develop pioneering payment product features that make transactions seamless and exciting.
- Lead the Charge: Be at the forefront of expanding our payment products, working closely with partners to build exclusive features that power Roblox’s global economy.
- Guide the Future: As a Tech Lead, you'll contribute to our Technical Roadmap and directly report to the Hiring Manager, crafting the future of Roblox’s revenue streams.
- Be at the heart of our mission to drive growth and create innovative payment solutions across platforms
You have:
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience working with scalable, distributed systems.
- Product Focus: Strong background in product-oriented, user-facing software engineering.
- Leadership: Experience in managing projects and small teams, planning and delegating work across different workstreams.
- Teamwork: Strong collaboration skills, ability to work across teams and organizations, mentoring and guiding junior engineers.
- Passion: A drive for delivering end-to-end products, from initial concept to implementation and A/B testing, with a strong sense of empathy for collaborating with cross-functional partners.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Bonus Points: Payment experience is a plus, but not a must-have.
For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

$283,780—$331,640 USD
