Summary

As a Product Analyst, you blend deep experience in product development, process transformation, and operational readiness with a customer-obsessed attitude and passion for analysis, requirement elicitation/documentation, and harnessing technology to solve complex business problems! You are adept at delivering technology solutions that span back-end data/transaction processing systems to the front-end digital experience. You are deeply committed to delivering value to customers.

You will work closely with a Lead Product Owner, Solution Designer, technology teams and other SMEs to understand and document current state processes, identify pain points, and collaboratively define future state using technology. As part of this you will elicit and document high-level requirements, partner with technology to formulate solutions, and construct delivery plans.

The Team

The Product Analyst is part of the Fidelity Health Client Implementation & Project Automation Product Area focused on delivering technology solutions that scale client delivery project execution. The Product Analyst works across the Product Area with multiple cross-functional Agile scrum teams (squads), technology, and a diverse set of partners. The Product Analyst is focused on the early discovery and refinement portion of the product development lifecycle, helping to define product features for product roadmaps, and facilitating the scrum teams ability to rapidly develop and implement features in health care applications from inception to delivery.

The Expertise You Have

  • Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred.
  • 7+ years software development Systems or Business Analyst experience, ideally working in an Agile Scrum environment, with demonstrable ability to work across multiple multi-functional teams
  • Experience in health care, benefits administration, benefits outsourcing services preferred.
  • Demonstrable expertise in business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case creation, process mapping, story mapping, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation.
  • Solid grasp of the systems architecture/process to support web development
  • Ability to lead workshops, facilitate discussions, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders to elicit product requirements and create process flow diagrams.
  • Experience working with databases, data flow diagrams, and large data sets
  • History of working with User Experience Design teams to support prototyping
  • Skilled in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Experience with JIRA or similar agile backlog management and testing tool
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional® (CBAP®) certification or Certified Scrum Product Owner certification is a plus
