Summary
The Crypto Trading team’s mission is to craft, build, and maintain services that power and accelerate our crypto products, platforms, and operations, with the goal of building the world’s best crypto trading platform. As a Product Designer, you will have a highly visible and impactful role at a relatively small company directly building the core crypto trading product that supports our mobile and web applications.
The ideal candidate is passionate about crafting product content that empowers people to understand crypto investing, market conditions, and other sophisticated financial concepts. This role requires strong foundational knowledge of the crypto space and the drive to keep building expertise, because you will be the crypto expert on the Product Design team!

What You Will Do
- Lead design projects across the entire product lifecycle including multiple product launches for the crypto team
- Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes
- Create compelling and memorable product designs
- Partner closely with leadership, engineering, product, and business teams
- Lead cross-functional idea generation sessions and brainstorms
- Effectively sell design solutions to partners through design storytelling and by demonstrating trace-ability in the design thinking
- Balance both the customer experience and Robinhood outcomes, designing with responsibility
What You Bring
- You have a design portfolio that demonstrates vision, innovation and story-telling skills
- You have proven experience building excellent consumer products. Strong proven experience knowledge is a huge plus!
- You have experience designing crypto products for consumer-facing products in house
- You bring a strong understanding of design systems, how to apply them, and how to contribute to them.
- You have the ability to design with a lot of product complexity
- You're an expert in Figma

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhoods equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.

Zone 2 (Denver, CO; Westlake, TX; Chicago, IL) $165,000 - $194,000 USD
Zone 3 (Lake Mary, FL) $146,000 - $172,000 USD
