Summary

You’ll design the following as a part of your role:

1. Product Improvements - One of the key levers we have at our disposal to grow our user base in key markets is to improve our product to make it the easiest to use in each market. Key areas of product improvement include:
2. Localization - regularly checking our products for correct translations and areas that could benefit from better localization. Recommending areas that could be better improved to fit with cultural context. Our product should feel local in each of our markets.
3. Onboarding - Each country has specific onboarding requirements, you will be working closely with the onboarding team to ensure that the best UX is provided to users whilst being compliant with local requirements.
4. Market research / Analysis - Helping the research team and country pod to conduct a holistic analysis of competitive dynamics in the market. Helping to run regular user testing and research sessions, documenting results and outlining opportunities presented. Having a deep understanding of Coinbase metrics within the region.

Legal / Regulatory -

 Assisting the team in building out a compliant yet delightful experience. Regulation can change quickly and the appropriate candidate needs to be capable of producing well crafted solutions in a short space of time.

What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties): 

1. Work in a small team to iteratively improve the user experience
2. Take new features from ideation, to prototyping, to user testing, to production
3. Design web and mobile experiences that are simple and intuitive
4. Participate in regular design reviews where you’ll seek out specific feedback on your designs and incorporate relevant feedback
5. Execute on the product roadmap and help define product strategy
6. Daily collaboration with Engineering, User Research, and Product

What we look for in you (ie. job requirements):

1. 3+ years of professional Product Design experience
2. Bachelor's degree in a related field
3. Experience designing consumer-facing experiences for web and mobile
4. Excellence in UX thinking, visual design, and written communication
5. Experience working in a collaborative environment with engineers, user researchers, and product teams
6. Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools
7. Low ego, collaborative, and open minded

Nice to haves:

1. Experience designing for fintech in India
2. Interest in crypto or financial products
3. User of Coinbase products
