Consensys is committed to supporting Ethereum development and promoting client diversity.
What you’ll do
As Product Manager for Besu, you will be at the forefront of shaping the future of Ethereum. Working closely with a talented engineering team, you will identify opportunities, distill customer needs, and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. You'll engage with the broader Ethereum community—including researchers, engineers, and product leads across the ecosystem—to drive the evolution of Besu as a critical part of the decentralized landscape. As part of Consensys, you will be exposed to internal clients such as Infura, Consensys Staking and Linea. Those groups/teams should be seen as key stakeholders with whom you will interact constantly.
You will play an integral role in building next generation blockchain networks and products, ensuring that Besu is not only reliable but also pushes the boundaries of innovation. This role offers the chance to grow alongside industry leaders and be part of AllCoreDevs (core contributors to Ethereum protocol - more information can be found on the official Ethereum YouTube channel and on this GitHub repo) to tackle the challenges of a rapidly advancing technology. You will manage a product that is intrinsically built with an open-source mindset, so you will be asked to clearly communicate with the Ethereum open-source community and inform Consensys key stakeholders of the latest developments.
You will use your strong communication and collaboration skills to deliver impact across functions in our distributed environment. You will seek to grow in your role and the community to become a strong voice within the AllCoreDevs. Your proven track record of strategic prioritization, execution, and reporting will set you up for success in our dynamic environment, ensuring Besu is among the strongest Ethereum clients.
