Job in a nutshell: 

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team. You will take ownership of a team responsible for creating a phenomenal customer experience with flexible, adaptable, and customer-focused journeys.

You will have a development team around you to ensure you are able to operate autonomously to define and deliver your roadmap in continuous cycles of dual-track Discovery-Delivery sprints.

You will work in a highly collaborative way within the Product team and across the organisation to successfully deliver strategically aligned product development whilst aiming to exceed your set KPIs.

Responsibilities: 

  1. Become the go-to person for your domain assuming a highly visible role within the company as the subject matter expert
  2. Demonstrate commercial acumen by building strong business cases that define the product’s success criteria
  3. Build strong and collaborative relationships across different departments, including internal teams (e.g. Product and Engineering, Compliance, Operations and Investments) and with our external partners
  4. Define and manage a highly organised roadmap and supporting backlog to ensure your team is delivering products that will most positively impact customers and the business
  5. Be passionate about the Product Development process, always striving to improve how products are built to ensure teams operate to their maximum effectiveness and efficiency
  6. Promote innovation in product design, always being mindful of, and working within, the framework of a strong financial compliance regime
  7. Take ultimate responsibility for product decisions, and be prepared to justify those decisions to all levels in the business
  8. Support and motivate the Engineering teams with clear and achievable deliverables
  9. Run assigned agile teams through iterative Discovery and Delivery sprint cycles
  10. Participate in agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, planning meetings, retrospectives
  11. Balance business and technical objectives and translate these as clear priorities for the Engineering team
  12. Be the glue among departments and create shared understanding by translating ideas & concepts into technical or layman’s terms

Your skills: 

  1. Product Management experience
  2. Proven track record of successfully building wealth management products, familiarity with brokerage and mutual funds end-to-end lifecycle 
  3. Experience working in the delivery of large, complex digital product initiatives with cross-team dependencies 
  4. Experience with software delivery best practices, working with technical product requirements and mapping of dependencies, design of minimum viable products, working with multi-country requirements 
  5. Explaining technical issues in a clear way to the business and other stakeholders
  6. Ability to analyse and incorporate user needs, business needs, and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process

You might also have: 

  1. Bachelor’s degree in a technical/ numerical discipline
